Sometimes you'll run across a craftsman. Someone who lives the craft, in all dimensions. Someone who is discerning in the selection of the raw product, one who is painstakingly precise as he fashions the instrument in the time-honored ways; yet still is able to innovate. One who from the first strum will know if his name is going on the instrument, or the instrument is going to find a permanent place in a cozy alcove in the dark corners of the shop.
This is Riley Yielding, Master Luthier.
